Job summary

WEBCO MFG seeks a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our Weld Team in a customer-focused environment. You will produce high quality welds efficiently and ensure parts meet customer specifications by selecting appropriate welding methods when not stated on the blueprint.

You will read blueprints and welding symbols, perform first piece checks, and maintain production records to verify quantities and adherence to schedules. This is an in-person role based in Olathe, KS, with relocation required.

Qualifications

• MIG welding/fabricator experience (at least 1 year).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Comfortable with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds.
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Determine welding method if not stated on the blueprint to meet specs.
• Perform first piece check and submit to QA for inspection.
• Maintain production records to ensure correct part quantities.
• Organize work according to complexity, method, and time to meet deadlines.
• Other duties as required.
