Job summary

AES Manufacturing is seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to take raw components through to high-quality welded assemblies. You will read prints, fit parts, and solve problems to ensure accuracy and durability of safety products.

Responsibilities include welding on carbon and stainless steel, measuring and finishing assemblies, and supporting robotic welding and fixture work when needed. A strong work ethic and safety focus are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Two or more years welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Custom fabrication and fit-up experience.
• TIG welding, stainless steel, fixtures, jigs, or robotic welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials used in AES products as required.
• Read fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and sketches.
• Measure, lay out, fit, tack, weld, grind, and finish fabricated assemblies.
• Use fixtures, jigs, saws, grinders, hand tools, and other approved fabrication equipment safely.
• Build repeat-production and custom fabricated components.
• Inspect your own work for weld quality, fit, dimensions, and overall workmanship.
• Troubleshoot fit-up, distortion, sequence, and fabrication problems.
• Support robotic welding, fixture work, or other fabrication functions when qualified and needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and meet production expectations without sacrificing quality
