Job summary

Webco Manufacturing is seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to produce precision sheet metal components for custom projects. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and perform MIG welding on various metals to meet tight tolerances.

In this role, you’ll inspect parts for quality, follow safety and 5S standards, and collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to continuously improve processes and learn hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and weldment drawings to determine weld sequences and sizes.
• Sets up welding equipment and selects appropriate settings for MIG welding.
• Performs MIG welding on various metals to fabricate sheet metal components.
• Inspects finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and interpret weld symbols and tolerances.
• Set up welding equipment and ensure correct gas, wire, and parameters.
• Weld components to specification with consistent quality.
