Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in various forms.
• Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings.
• Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage and voltage.
• Manually guides electrode along weld line to form specified depth.
• Welds in various positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead.
• Examines weld for bead size and specifications.
