Job summary

Sewer Equipment in Dixon, IL is seeking a dedicated welder for a full-time, on-site role. You will assemble metal pieces, review blueprints, and perform MIG welding across multiple positions to ensure high-quality assemblies.

The position requires 1-2 years of welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and basic math with accurate measurement skills. Forklift operation may be required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift if required and trained.

Responsibilities

• Utilize blueprints to manufacture quality assemblies
• MIG welding all positions
• Document actions by completing produced quality inspections, time forms if applicable
• Performing related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding to properly fit components
• Maintains a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and maintained
