Job summary

Valley Craft Industries seeks a Welder for 2nd shift in Lake City, MN. Join a team building high-quality material handling products with a strong safety focus. 4-day workweek with Fridays off unless OT. MIG/TIG weld experience required; ability to read blueprints; lift up to 50 lbs; competitive pay and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

You'll fabricate daily production and custom orders, set up welding equipment, and work in a clean, collaborative shop environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MIG welding experience.
• TIG welding a plus.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate daily production and custom orders.
• MIG and/or TIG welding to quality standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery.
• Position materials using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools.
• Maintain productivity targets (3 cabinets per hour).
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Support light machine maintenance as needed.

Schedule: 3:30 PM – 2 AM (OT as needed)

Requirements:

• 1+ year MIG welding experience (TIG a plus)
• Metalworking knowledge & quality focus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
