Welder Positions at Generac

Position Details:

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  Saturday overtime based on business needs
• Starting Wage:
• Welder I - $21.25/hr + 13% shift premium
• Welder II - $25.50/hr + 13% shift premium

Responsibilities:

• Welder I: Ensure safety compliance, operate welding equipment, support multiple product areas, train new employees, interpret engineering drawings, assist with robotic welding, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Welder II: All Welder I responsibilities, plus intermediate MIG and Stick welding, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Welder III: All previous responsibilities, proficiency in aluminum welding (TIG), complex component welding, and operate robotic welders.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or certification
• Internal weld tests
• Experience in welding, knowledge of welding fundamentals, and ability to work in a team

Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, manual dexterity, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and occasional travel. The role involves computer-based work and requires good vision and focus.
