Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Welder for the 1st shift. The role requires reading blueprints, selecting equipment, and welding using GMAW MIG.

Candidate will lay out and assemble parts, align components, and secure them for welding, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions. Experience with welding/fabrication or a related certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school in welding/fabrication or relevant experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from squatting, kneeling, or bending positions.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Reads and comprehends blueprints.
• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding from blueprints.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds part to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, GMAW MIG.
