MIG Welder

Location: Durham, NC

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM

GREAT OPPORTUNITY! A growing company in Durham is seeking a MIG Welder for a long-term temp-to-hire position. Flexibility with duties and assistance with production are required.

Requirements for the MIG Welder:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions)
• Clean drug screen
• Welding certification (MIG) for overhead and vertical welding OR relevant experience with the ability to pass a certification test within 90 days
• Ability to operate hand tools, welding equipment, gas, semi-automated machinery, measuring tools, and computers
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics, including welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for recording hours, reading outputs, and managing communications

Compensation:

The starting hourly wage ranges from $20.00 to $22.00.
