USA Wood Door is seeking a skilled MIG welder for 1st shift in Howell, MI. You will read blueprints, set up jigs, and weld to spec using MIG processes, while handling hand and power tools safely. Grinding and quality checks are part of daily tasks, with emphasis on accuracy and productivity.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience with blueprints, basic math, and safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and templates.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Comfort with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding in accordance with specs and quality standards.
• Read blueprints/templates to complete assigned work accurately.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to finish tasks.
• Grind as needed to prepare and finish products.
• Ensure product passes quality assessment checks.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
