Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking skilled MIG welders for 1st and 2nd shifts in Michigan. The role is contract to hire with pay at $21.20 per hour, plus a second shift premium of $0.50 and attendance incentive of $1.40 per hour for meeting punctuality.

You will lay out, read blueprints, and MIG weld carbon steel per drawings, operate cranes and forklifts, and perform quality checks to ensure ASME standards in a safe, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MIG fabrication welding experience.
• Ability to read tape measures and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with ASME quality standards.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, assemble, and MIG weld carbon steel according to specs.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine welds and procedures.
• Prepare materials by clamping, grinding, and positioning.
• Move materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Perform quality checks on welds to ensure standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
