Job summary

Tri-Arc Manufacturing in Blawnox, PA, is seeking steel MIG welders for first and second shifts. The plant offers competitive starting rates: $24.33 for 1st shift and $24.93 for 2nd shift, plus a $0.60 shift premium. All candidates must pass a welding test and bring their own welding gear.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.
Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components.
Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together (usually in fixtures).
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding equipment.
Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
Operates various punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube bending equipment.
Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
