Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our team in Tampa, FL. This temp-to-perm position involves welding carbon steel structural frames, requiring precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience
• Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques for carbon steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience using grinders, saws, and metalworking tools
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials as needed
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and skills assessment test
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel structural frames following technical specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and procedures accurately
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper voltage, wire speed, and gas flow
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and structural integrity
• Use grinders, saws, and other metalworking tools to smooth and finish welds
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
