Job summary

Cardinal Scale Manufacturing Co in Webb City, MO, is seeking a full-time Production Welder. The role requires MIG and TIG welding, reading blueprints, and setting up equipment in a high-volume shop. Two shifts available from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. to midnight, with overtime as needed.

Pay is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k matching and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of factory/manufacturing experience with similar equipment at high volumes.
• Welding Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and set-up of equipment.
• Weld (MIG and TIG) forms according to blueprints and job orders.
• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
• Layout, positioning, and alignment of components for welding.
• Movement and positioning of workpieces using overhead crane.
• May clean or degrease parts using brush, grinder, or chemical bath.
• Troubleshoots welding procedures by visually examining welds for defects.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Summary/Objective

The Production Welder requires knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle methods involved in the production of precision parts is also required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,2nd shift- 3:30 p.m. to midnight., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
