Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Sacramento, CA is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join a fast-paced production environment. The candidate should have hands-on experience with MIG welding galvanized steel pipe and be comfortable in a physically demanding role.

This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience required.
• Proficient in using welding tools and equipment.
• Must be able to stand throughout entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel pipe according to specifications.
• Operate welding torches, maintain welding shield and wear protective leathers.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings (if applicable).
• Assist with other fabrication tasks as needed.
