Responsibilities and Duties
  • Responsible for all MIG maintenance and repairs on vehicles/trailers.
  • Repairing cracks, cross members, and ramps.
  • Repairing broken attaching and mounting supports.
  • Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Organize and clean welding equipment.
  • Use measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to inspect angles, grooves, or gap allowances.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of experience in MIG welding with steel.
  • Welding certifications are a plus.
  • Skilled with GMAW techniques.
  • Attention to detail.
Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to withstand long hours of welding in rigorous and extreme conditions, operate various welding implements to achieve high-quality welds, and perform physical activities such as lifting, crawling, pulling, bending, reaching, and climbing. Must be able to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. Good hearing and vision are required.
