Job Details:

  • Second shift, Monday - Thursday
  • 3:30 pm - 2:00 am

Job Description:

  • Join metal parts through gas metal arc welding and tungsten inert gas welding
  • Apply techniques to produce exceptionally strong joints on structures
  • Read and interpret welding codes and blueprints
  • Operate specialized hand and power tools
  • Install torch tips, filler rods, and flux according to the width of the metal
  • Monitor and regulate gas flow and pressure
  • Arrange, measure, and align workpieces before welding
  • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Ensure welding equipment adheres to safety guidelines
  • Reinforce welds by conducting pre-heating and post-heating treatments
  • Comply with health and safety protocol and always wear protective gear
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Position Requirements:

  • Previous MIG & TIG welding experience
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment needed to perform tasks
  • Strong mathematical and measurement skills
  • Problem-solver
  • May be required to stand for long periods
  • Engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
