Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Minnesota is seeking a skilled welding technician to operate robotic welders and plasma cutters during the 1st shift (Monday–Thursday, 5:00 am–3:30 pm). You will program robots, perform MIG/TIG hand welds, and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.

You will follow formal quality procedures, document inspections, maintain safety and confidentiality, and collaborate with team to process job packets.

Qualifications

  • Vocational welding training and hands-on shop experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measure with calipers or tapes.
  • Robotic welding experience and attention to cosmetic weld quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate robotic welders and plasma cutter.
  • Program robotic welders and perform MIG/TIG hand welds.
  • Follow quality procedures and document as necessary.
  • Inspect parts using measuring tools.
  • Use positioners for hand welding and wash parts.
  • Test parts and document inspections.
  • Process job packets accurately using a computer.
  • Maintain safety and confidentiality of blue prints.
  • Adhere to safety policies and demonstrate core values.
