Job summary

Southern Grind is seeking a Welding Fabricator in Florida to weld aluminum and stainless steel, fabricate custom panels, and assemble complex parts. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding and precise fabrication are essential.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting tolerances, and working on multiple positions. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs and contribute to efficient production alongside the team.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding in a production environment.
• Reading a tape measure and identifying/materials.
• Experience with specialized welding techniques for custom/complex projects.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Fabrication experience including cutting, shaping and assembling parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in multiple positions.
• Inspect welds for bead size and quality to meet specifications.
• Assist fabrication and assembly of fuel tank instrument panels and custom parts.
• Repair damaged parts and fill holes as needed.
• Set up and clamp workpieces using jigs or fixtures for welding.
