Diamondback America is seeking a Welding Fabricator in Florida to weld and assemble aluminum and stainless steel components for fuel tank instrument panels and specialized projects. The role emphasizes MIG and TIG welding with precise fabrication skills and adherence to project specs.

The candidate should have 3+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience in production, strong tape measure reading skills, and familiarity with welding gauges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years MIG and TIG welding in a production setting.
• 3+ years reading a tape measure and measuring materials.
• 1+ year specialized welding for complex projects.
• 1+ year using fillet gauges to verify weld size and tolerances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in all positions.
• Inspect welds for bead size and quality to meet standards.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of fuel tank instrument panels and custom parts.
• Repair broken parts and prepare workpieces using jigs for welding.
• Select torch, tip, filler rod and flux based on material/thickness.
• Contribute to design and fabrication of custom solutions for projects.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with production team to ensure on-time workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
