Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of welding experience.
• Demonstrated MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience using welding equipment, grinders, and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, prints, weld symbols, work orders, and work instructions.
• Set up MIG and TIG welding equipment according to material type and weld requirements.
• Perform quality MIG and TIG welds on steel, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Follow weld locations, sizes, and sequences shown on drawings.
• Adjust welding settings to achieve proper weld quality and minimize distortion.
• Inspect completed welds and components for size, penetration, and defects.
