Job description

Job Description: MUST be able to MIG & TIG Welding of Aluminum and Steel based product. Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as brackets, covers, frames and tanks by performing the following duties. Past certification to AWS standards and specs a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding.
• Lay outs, positions, aligns and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG and TIG equipment.
• Remove and place goods into bins & containers so parts will not become damaged.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.
• Performs General Labor duties when and as required.
• To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education & Experience:
Three (3) years Welding Experience.
Basic knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions and the ability to read tape measure.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Need to be able to lift and move 50 lb. load at a minimum.

Additional Requirements:

• Undergo drug screening, pass an employment test, provide your own tools, pass a physical examination.
• Must be capable of welding materials in the range of .030-1.5” thick.
• As a condition of employment, you will have to pass steel and aluminum testing and become certified to AWS standards.

Day Shift Hours:
Monday-Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM
Friday – 6:00AM – 2:30PM
