Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking skilled welders for the Port Allen, LA shop to weld pipe spools using MIG and Fluxcore processes. You will read weld maps and procedures, identify materials, and perform welds per specifications in a busy pipe fabrication environment.

Applicants must pass MIG/Fluxcore tests, sign off on safety procedures, and maintain a safe, efficient work area. The role requires lifting 30–50 pounds and readiness to work on site in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment qualification tests for MIG and Fluxcore welding.
• Must pass welding tests and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift.
• Must follow PPE requirements and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Applicant must be able to lift 30–50 pounds and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret weld maps and weld procedures.
• Identify material types and weld pipe spools.
• Assist in setting up and taking down pipe spools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
