Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in welding or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years experience in welding or related field.
• Previous welding experience (operation/programming).

Responsibilities

• Verify integrity of data through confirmation of sign offs on process documentation.
• Maintain 5S in the workspace and orderly conditions.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain safe operations.
• Cut, shape, and trim material using grinders, iron worker and hand tools.
• Read blueprints to build items as specified.
• Inspect items for defects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Take ownership of the welding process to meet departmental goals.
• Perform other duties as needed.
