Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Alternative: graduate of an approved MA apprenticeship program.
• Alternative: completed two years of medical training in US Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year MA experience with vital signs, injections, and meds.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Work under delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist patient care.
• Perform MA duties and be fully competent in clinical needs for assigned location.
