Job summary

Providence's Swedish Medical Group in Seattle is seeking a Medical Assistant II who works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties that support patient care and is fully competent in the clinical needs for the assigned clinic.

Under established policies, procedures and regulations, you will carry out MA I responsibilities and contribute to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care that values voice, mutual respect, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA experience including vital signs, injections and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 6 months healthcare experience.
• At least 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform MA I duties as directed to support clinical needs.
