Bayhealth is seeking a hospital-based Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the obstetrics team at the Kent Campus. The CNM will collaborate with OB/GYN physicians to provide specialty care for women, focusing on intrapartum and immediate postpartum phases, with potential antepartum duties as needed.
Responsibilities include labor assessment, delivery, patient education, and postpartum guidance. A Master’s in midwifery or CNM certification is required; new graduates welcome for FT/PT roles.

The hospital-based Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) works as a member of the care team with the OB/GYN physicians to provide specialty healthcare for women in the hospital setting. The clinical responsibilities include evaluation and management of obstetrical and common pregnancy associated conditions. The care is focused on the intrapartum and immediate postpartum phases of care but can include other antepartum complications or conditions as needed. Midwife works in a team-based, patient-centered care environment, in accordance with established protocols, practices and standardized guidelines.
