Job summary

Koss Construction Company is seeking a Stringless Controls Technician to begin in Topeka, KS, with extended travel across the Midwest. The role involves setting stringline and concrete forms, operating stringless controls, and supporting traffic control tasks on highway construction projects.

The position requires outdoor work in extreme temperatures, lifting up to 75 lbs, and teamwork. Overtime after 8 hours and per diem benefits are provided as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen (negative).
• Must complete post-offer physical (capable).

Responsibilities

• Independently set stringline and concrete forms.
• Set up stringless controls to communicate with machinery.
• May lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.
• Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades and traffic control devices.
