Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a RW Regional Relief Pilot for the Midwest region to ensure airworthy aircraft and safe transport of medical crews and patients within the assigned area.

Responsibilities include pre-flight checks, flight planning, and compliance with FAR/AIM/GOM. The role offers a $40,000 annual stipend and a $40,000 sign-on bonus for new hires, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two to five years related experience or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree required as minimum.
• Commercial & Instrument Rating required; ATP rating meets requirement.
• Maintain weight under 250 pounds and age under 70 per safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Complete pre-flight checks and Daily Flight Log sign-off.
• Ensure airworthiness and readiness of medical transport aircraft.
• Coordinate with medical crew and airports within the Midwest region.
• Maintain thorough documentation and planning with short notice.
