Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in the group travel industry.
• Minimum 5+ years in sales.
• Proven success in selling, developing group business and lead generation.
• Experience managing a team of 5+.
• Strong industry and group market knowledge.
• Ability to travel 50% or more.
• CRM experience with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategy to generate new leads, sales, and account retention.
• Manage a team of Business Development Managers and track goals and successes.
• Motivate Business Development Managers to generate sales through engagement and support.
• Plan and attend educational sessions, trade shows, and events for Mayflower activities.
• Respond and follow up on calls, emails, questions within 24 hours.
• Manage team performance based on goals from senior management.
• Analyze regional trends with the VP to grow business and engagement.
• Develop and share successful promotional practices with teams and departments.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses within policy.
• Provide competitive intelligence to the VP of Sales.
• Stay updated on company communications and itineraries.
