Midwest Remote Markets Account Manager

Notes: Ideal candidate is located near one of our Midwest markets and reports to the office as needed. Locations include Indianapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

National Corporate Housing is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and grow core inventory in emerging and established remote markets throughout the Midwest. This role is specifically focused on identifying and securing partnerships with apartment communities offering flexible lease terms to meet the needs of our clients, fostering strong relationships with a robust network of supply chain partners, and driving strategic growth in new cities. The ideal candidate will excel at expanding our portfolio, building strong market relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction while meeting and exceeding market goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Winning: the highest priority of this role will be winning opportunities with housing requests for new and existing clients.
  • Expand Your Market: Take ownership of growing National throughout the Midwest by strategically increasing our unit inventory in exciting, emerging markets.
  • Drive Results: Sharpen your negotiation skills by managing pricing, lease terms, and new unit acquisitions to boost profitability and market impact.
  • Build Connections: Create and nurture relationships with local partners, communities, and businesses to develop new housing requests and exceed market goals.
  • Make an Impact: Handle high-priority, time-sensitive client requests with speed and precision, ensuring every client feels valued and taken care of.
  • Be the Go-To Expert: Act as the key point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners, managing lease agreements and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Showcase Your Skills: Use your strong sales, presentation, and communication abilities to win deals and keep clients happy.
  • Deliver Excellence: Maintain and surpass guest satisfaction benchmarks – our average satisfaction score in 2024 was over 95%!
  • Team Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with the local salesforce while driving individual results in a collaborative, supportive environment.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Sales Experience That Stands Out: Prior experience in inside sales is essential. Bonus points if you’ve worked in apartment leasing, hospitality, or the hotel industry.

  • Strong Communicator: Whether presenting to clients or collaborating with teams, your communication and presentation skills are top-notch.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: You have a passion for delivering exceptional service and building relationships that last.
  • Creative Problem Solver: You think ahead and outside the box, offering innovative solutions that address client needs and drive results.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a winning attitude and proven results matter most.

    • On target earnings commissions potential of ~ $1500-$2,000/month after ramping up, depending on book of business; uncapped
