Job summary

Bailey Nurseries seeks a General Manager to lead Midwest/Eastern operations, including Illinois, Minnesota, and Georgia. You will partner with the COO to drive safety, profitability, and sustainable growth across multiple locations.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll build leadership, shape strategic plans, oversee budgets, and ensure execution of core values while advancing lean processes and continuous improvement in nursery operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in the industry with 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing teams and performance.
• Strong knowledge of nursery production and business acumen to lead complex operations.
• Proven ability to drive change, communicate effectively, and manage personnel matters professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for Bailey’s Midwest/Eastern operations.
• Lead the Production Leadership Team across locations to align priorities, staffing, production plans, and goals.
• Maintain hands-on leadership and strong communication to support consistent execution of company objectives.
