Location:Remote

Applicant must live in one of the following states: Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

Dance Team Union (“DTU”) is the fastest growing dance camp and competition company in the United States. Our passion and focus is dance! We host events all over the United States year-round.

The principal duties of a DTU Sales Representative/Liaison are to sell DTU’s dance camps and national, regional, state and virtual competitions via phone, e-mail, in-person meetings, and any other method requested by company ownership. He/she will also, in the course of his/her sales activities, track contacts and help build and manage DTU’s growing contact list, assist in managing teams’ registration, scheduling and communication processes, provide direct service to camp and competition customers, and handle other event-related duties and projects as requested.

Location: Remote position, with some travel required on weekends throughout the year to DTU events in the Sales Liaison’s territory, plus DTU’s National Championship in Orlando, Florida in February, and the College Classic in Orlando, Florida in April.

Job Duties

  • Generate Leads, actively seek out new potential clients
  • Client relationship management, build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Convert leads into sales and achieve sales target
  • Keep up with the industry trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
  • Provide after-sales support to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and share insight with management
  • Represent DTU at industry conferences, as well as DTU sponsored events, camps, regionals and nationals
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and sales techniques to improve performance
  • Attend weekly company meetings, as scheduled
  • Take complete ownership of role
  • Respond to clients and team members within 48 hours

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Competitive school and/or all-star dance team experience
  • Professional sales experience, preferably involving remote sales
  • Ability to work with people and provide impeccable customer service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing projects and assignments
  • Proficiency with computers and office-related software including word processing, database and spreadsheet management, e-mail and Internet (experience with Hubspot a plus)
  • Enthusiasm for Dance Team Union’s brand and mission, and the ability to transfer that enthusiasm to clients and potential clients
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
