Job summary

The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for driving and operating a commercial heavy truck on public highways and construction job-sites in a safe and efficient manner. Heavy trucks may include: end dump trucks, water trucks, or lowboy trailer trucks.

Dump trucks will haul aggregates, sand, concrete, hot-mix asphalt, and other construction materials to active work zones. The CDL Truck Driver must also complete pre-trip checks, assist with fluid checks and maintenance, securing loads, cleaning, and

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A or B CDL and be at least 21 years old.
• Manual transmissions only; automatic restrictions cannot be accepted.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Good driving record with no major violations.
• Able to complete pre-employment drug screen with negative result.
• Able to complete post-offer physical with capable result.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a commercial heavy truck on public highways and construction job-sites safely.
• Haul aggregates, sand, concrete, hot-mix asphalt, and other materials; operate end dump, water, or lowboy trailer trucks.
• Perform pre-trip checks; assist with fluid checks and maintenance; secure loads; keep truck clean; back and park as required.
• Complete duties as directed by Foreman or Operations Manager.
