bp is seeking a Midterm Planning and Projects Analyst to lead the 1–10 year integrated midterm plans for the Midwest region. You will coordinate strategy across refining, trading, midstream, logistics, and aviation to keep plans living and aligned with execution.

With 4+ years in commercial roles in refining/trading/midstream, you will digest data, build compelling stories, and present insights. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and AI-driven analysis is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial experience within refining, trading, midstream, or customer-facing businesses.
• Ability to digest data and develop compelling stories that define the strategy for the MW
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient at PowerPoint, Excel and AI Strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Develops and coordinates overall midterm plan, start to finish for the MW Value Chain.
• Support the development of the MW strategy, driving analytics and stakeholder perspectives.
• Assess value chain developments and their implications for feedstock and product flows.
• Support the generation of supply-demand outlooks and scenario analytics.
• Inform advocacy positions related to industry infrastructure developments.
• Works with stakeholders across the business to align and analyze data across different businesses.
• Analyze key bp Downstream Strategy themes for the US and distill them to a MW narrative.
• Support cross-business alignment on strategies across ST&S, Refining, M&C and Aviation.
• Manages workstream leads and ensures deliverables.
