Job summary

BP Americas, Inc. is seeking a Finance Performance Analyst to join the Terminal & Pipelines Finance team in the U.S.

This role forecasts and analyzes pipeline activities, coordinates annual plans and quarterly forecasts, and partners with Operations Leadership to ensure accurate financial performance across assets and joint ventures. You will work with SAP-based systems, Excel dashboards, and Power BI reports, driving efficiencies and supporting finance modernization initiatives while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Performance, Operations, or a related discipline.
Experience with SAP or other enterprise financial systems preferred.
Experience in the energy industry with prior cost analyst experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor Terminal & Pipelines financial accounts and ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.
Prepare and deliver variance analysis and commentary for monthly, quarterly, and annual results across assigned pipeline assets and support functions.
Coordinate the development and submission of annual financial plans for pipeline operations and lead quarterly Global Forecasting Outlook updates.
Facilitate monthly financial performance reviews with Operations Leadership and drive actions to meet targets.
Support finance modernization initiatives by enhancing management reporting, data analytics, and decision-support capabilities.
