Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Midstream Water Engineer to design, optimize and support water, oil, and gas gathering systems across the Midland and Delaware Basins. The role integrates engineering, operations, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe and cost-effective performance.

Responsibilities include hydraulic modeling, system design for pipelines and pump skids, SWD workovers, and capital planning with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study (Engineering or Science)
• Five to eight years of experience in Oil & Gas Production Facilities or Chemical Process Industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) / AFE / API / ASME or related certifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Five to eight years of experience in Oil & Gas Midstream or Upstream engineering and operations

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic modelling and system analysis for water, oil, and gas pipelines using AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, and ProMax.
• Design and size pipeline systems, pump skids, and related infrastructure based on production forecasts.
• Monitor SWD performance and develop documentation for SWD workover procedures.
• Oversee facility programming logic including pumps, valves, and automation systems.
• Support regulatory compliance including H-5 testing for SWDs and T-4 filings.
