Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related Finance
• 3–5 years corporate accounting experience or 2–3 years public accounting
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in Midstream, Marketing, Energy, or commodity-based businesses
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, outlook, or planning processes
• Inventory valuation or commodity margin analysis
• Independent thinker with accountability

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with emphasis on Midstream & Marketing activities
• Interpret large datasets and identify trends in market data
• Conduct variance analysis vs outlook, budget, and prior periods; present drivers via dashboards
• Support monthly close with accruals, estimates, and tie-outs per accrual accounting
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items with Accounting
• Develop and enhance management reporting tools and automated analytics
• Collaborate with other departments in recording and analyzing financial data
• Assist with internal and external audits and other special projects
