Interns work side‑by‑side with experienced professionals across MPLX and NGL services, supporting projects from design to operations and maintenance at on‑site facilities nationwide, including Canonsburg and Denver locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum/Natural Gas, or Electrical Engineering.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Valid driver's license for work‑related travel.
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from place of work.
• Authorized to work in the United States with need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms is preferred.
• MIN - $33.54 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support real projects and routine operations within MPLX/NGL Services internships and co‑ops.
• Engage in project scope development, including estimating, scheduling, design, and construction oversight.
• Contribute to DOT‑regulated pipeline integrity and maintenance programs.
• Perform field work at pipelines, compressor stations, gas processing plants and related facilities.
• Assist engineers across automation, electrical, process, and project engineering in midstream initiatives.
