INNOVATIVE THE LANDMARK is seeking a dedicated Med Tech for the midnight shift to deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, and maintain a safe, clean overnight environment. The role supports nursing staff and ensures continuous patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds a High school diploma and an active Med Tech certification, with experience in healthcare, especially long-term care or hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Med Tech certification in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a long-term care facility or hospital, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations and adapt to changing work demands.
• Understanding of patient care and nursing principles.
• Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene tasks.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with patient mobility, transferring, and repositioning to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to established safety and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, offering emotional support and reassurance during overnight hours.
• Document patient information and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and alarms to address patient needs in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
