You will monitor processes, perform quality checks, and collaborate with QA and maintenance to minimize downtime. Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint-reading are essential, with strict adherence to safety and records keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating extrusion or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Determines necessary equipment for each product; sets up extruder and runs parts to established specifications and efficiency standards, making adjustments to operating conditions as necessary.
• Fills hopper with specified material as needed; operates grinder, punches, sandblaster, cooker, and other tools as required.
• Conducts product quality checks as necessary, completes paperwork in accordance with established procedures, packs products as necessary.
• Inspects, cleans, organizes, and maintains dies, calibrators, tooling, etc.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or incidents to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Trains operators as directed by the supervisor.
