K&L Gates LLP is seeking a midlevel real estate associate for our Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of real estate transactional and development experience, including purchase and sale agreements, title and survey review, and lender-side finance representation.

Join our dynamic Real Estate team, work with experienced lawyers, and advance to increased responsibility with mentoring and client contact. Base compensation ranges from $270,000 to $390,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of real estate transactional and development experience.
• Experience drafting purchase and sale agreements and development documents.
• Familiarity with title, survey review, and lender-side finance.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate real estate purchase and sale agreements and related documents.
• Support real estate development, due diligence, and structuring of ventures.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines.
