Summary of Job Duties: This position is in El Dorado, AR.

The Midlevel Provider (PA or APRN) works collaboratively with the physician and multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive primary care to outpatients. The mid-Level Provider is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, managing, educating, promoting health, and coordinating care for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.
Qualifications:

Required Qualification/Experience

APRN

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing – Family Medicine
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience
  • One (1) year of APRN experience in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Clinic

PA

  • Master’s Degree – Physician Assistant
  • 1 year of PA experience in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Clinic

Preferred Qualification/Experience

APRN

  • DNP
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience
  • Three (3) years of APRN experience in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Clinic

PA

  • Three (3) years of PA experience in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Clinic

Duties will include, but are not limited to

  • Mid-level practitioners provide coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care.
  • Appointments may involve varied responsibilities in the area of patient care, including direct patient care, medical teaching, and/or research collaborations.
  • Engagement in clinical care and/or scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine are to be included.
  • The mid levels are expected to promote academic excellence and promote the health & wellness of Arkansans.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
