Job description

At Hart & Hickman (H&H), we're looking for an experienced environmental professional who's not just technically strong—but ready to own projects, collaborate directly with clients, and grow into leadership as a well-rounded consultant within quality-focused firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex site assessment and remediation projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders—early and often
  • Mentor junior staff and help shape project teams
  • Develop technical strategies, budgets, and high-quality deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 5 to 10 years of environmental consulting experience
  • Expertise in Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation
  • Phase I/II ESAs
  • Vapor intrusion assessment
  • NC Brownfields Experience
  • Experience in North and South Carolina Clean Up Programs
  • Experience managing projects, budgets, and small teams
  • A self-starter who thrives in a flexible, collaborative environment
