Experis is seeking two Middleware Integration Engineers to support a Profile Deposits and Payments transition in Charlotte, NC. You will focus on IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) integrations and Payments/ACH workflows within a hybrid, W2 environment.

Responsibilities include building data transformations, API-led connectivity, and Kafka-based streaming, plus PL/SQL data validations and OpenShift deployments. Immediate start through 2027 with extensions.

Qualifications

Project Overview: Profile Deposits & Payments Transition

Our client is undertaking a critical enterprise system transition involving Profile Deposits and core Payments infrastructure. Data and transactions from the existing Profile platform are being migrated and integrated into a new enterprise architecture. This environment includes a high volume of complex upstream and downstream interfaces requiring advanced data transformation, contextual conversion, and API-led integration.

We are seeking 2 Middleware Integration Engineers to support this transition—focusing on IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) integrations alongside Payments / ACH application workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Middleware Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

Payments & ACH Integration: Support middleware development and transaction logic focused on core Payments & Deposits (specifically ACH processing) applications.

Contextual Data Transformation: Execute complex data transformations to support the migration from the legacy Profile platform to the new architecture.

API-Led Connectivity: Transition legacy file-based transfers into modern, secure RESTful APIs.

Streaming & Messaging: Integrate and process datasets using Kafka for real-time asynchronous data flows.

Database Engineering: Write and optimize PL/SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and validate data integrity during conversion.

Containerized Deployment: Support deployments and maintain middleware nodes within an OpenShift environment.

Automation: Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for operational support and pipeline automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

IBM ACE Expertise: Hands‑on development experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

Payments / ACH Domain Knowledge: Direct experience working with Payments and Deposits, specifically ACH (Automated Clearing House) processing applications.

Modern Infrastructure: Experience working within containerized OpenShift environments.

Data Streaming: Solid hands‑on experience with Kafka message streaming and integration.

Database / SQL: Strong SQL / PL-SQL development skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation.

APIs & Scripting: Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and writing Unix/Linux shell scripts.
