Job summary

Sammons Financial Group seeks a Middleware Engineer to design, implement and maintain the company's middleware and integration platforms. You will collaborate with developers and architects, manage CI/CD automation, and lead on-call tasks in a global, multi-team environment.

The role requires strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint, cloud and on-premise stacks, WebSphere/IIS, and modern DevOps tooling, with a commitment to high reliability and security across critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS/IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' middleware admin experience (MuleSoft, Tomcat, WebSphere or IIS).
• Experience in Windows server environments required.
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Developers/Architects to define integration direction.
• Automate middleware deployment/configuration using CI/CD tools.
• Lead operational tasks with offshore consultants.
• Analyze processes to develop improvements and automation.
• Monitor middleware performance and usage.
• Plan migrations, consolidation and upgrades of components.
• Troubleshoot issues to improve app performance.
• Administer and maintain middleware components.
• Execute daily tasks and system reviews.
• Represent Infrastructure team regarding project impact.
