Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and document the design and development of Middleware solutions that meet business and project needs using selected tools, providing expertise to, and coordinating efforts with internal and external customers.
  • Implement, administer, and configure Middleware functionality using the chosen software and tools (e.g., Oracle SOA Middleware, Hazelcast).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production support incidents, including performance and availability issues in a highly available environment.
  • Perform research, analysis, design, and implementation of technical solutions to meet current and future user requirements.
  • Provide level 2 and level 3 support, owning incidents through resolution and updating clients on progress.
  • Participate in project planning, work plan development, testing, and staffing.
  • Provide technical assistance throughout the environment and ensure documentation is complete and current.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
  • Perform capacity planning and system optimization.
  • Coordinate with hosting providers and application teams regarding web support.
  • Lead software development projects ensuring delivery of components.

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in web services, application development, and large-scale software implementation.
  • 8+ years developing web services (SOAP/REST) and Java/J2EE applications preferred.
  • 5+ years in Java & J2EE application development.
  • Proven experience with SOA infrastructure administration and support.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting middleware tools.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (DB2, SQL).
  • Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated team player capable of owning projects independently.
  • Ability to work within standard and change management processes.

Compensation Range: The salary range is based on the company's good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on location, experience, market conditions, education, and skills. ($139,078-$173,826)

Working Days and Shift: Shift and hours to be determined; subject to change based on business needs.
