Position Offers

Requirements

• Five (5) years of progressive experience administering Middleware solutions and at least three (3) years of hands-on experience and expertise in Application deployment, testing, tuning, and security.
  
  

Summary

CICONIX is seeking a Middleware Administrator with hands-on experience and expertise in Application deployment, testing, tuning, and security to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) team in Philadelphia, PA.

About The Role

• Provides all activities related to the administration of Middleware Administration.
• Projects long-range requirements for database administrators and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function.
• Installs, designs, creates, and maintains Middleware solutions in a client/server environment.
• Conducts quality control and auditing of Middleware installations in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
• Advises users on access to Middleware applications.
• Deploys user applications in the Middleware installation.
• Works with Application developers to ensure connectivity to databases.
• Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
• Performs database programming and supports systems design.
• Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, adherence to standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of discipline.

Experience:

• Five (5) years progressive experience administering Middleware solutions (e.g., Oracle Fusion Middleware).
• At least three years hands-on experience and expertise in Application deployment, testing, tuning and security.
• Experience also shall include capability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
• Experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale application.

Security & Background Check:

• U.S. Citizenship and a successful background investigation are required.
• Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) security clearance.
• ACTIVE Secret Clearance Required.
