• Java Application Server support experience
• Programming experience (Python, Java, Perl, Ruby, Bash, etc) developing and consuming APIs
• SVN, GIT, Maven, Atlassian Tool Suite
• Review error and audit logs
• Work with vendors, IT staff, and end users to troubleshoot problems with Java applications
• Monitor Java performance, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and analyze cause of performance problems
• Work on problems requiring expert experience
• Exercise judgment using procedures and practices to determine appropriate course of action
• Mentor more junior members of the team
• Provide expert level expertise to customers and more junior members of the team
