Visitation School seeks a full-time (1.0) Middle & Upper School Art Teacher (grades 6-12) beginning August 2025.

Visitation is an independent Catholic day school with a culture permeated by Salesian Spirituality. We offer a unique combination of learning experiences with a coed Lower School (Montessori preschool through grade 5), an all-girls Middle School (grades 6-8), and an all-girls Upper School (grades 9-12). The ideal candidate for the Middle & Upper School Art role:

Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts-related field with three to five years of teaching experience is required. The Studio Art Teacher must have experience as an Art Generalist who can teach a variety of mediums, such as drawing, painting, pottery, printmaking, as well as photography and digital media. A Master’s degree, prior teaching experience in an independent school, and knowledge of AP curricula are preferred.

Salary Range: $40,200 - $99,533 based on degree, teaching experience, and the established salary grid.
